Having an international airport as a neighbour has its advantages, but at Schiphol we are fully aware that it can also cause problems. We work hard to make sure you can enjoy living and working near the airport; we do our best to limit inconvenience, ensure safety and keep a close eye on air quality. If you have any questions about how we do this, please contact the Local Community Contact Centre Schiphol (BAS).
In the week of 12 – 18 May 2025, we expect an average of 1,385 flights per day at Schiphol. We expect the number of daily flights that take off and land at our airport to stay around the same throughout May.
Take-off: 07:00-07:40, 09:20-11:00, 11:40-13:00, 14:00-15:20, 16:20-17:40 and 20:40-22:10
Landing: 07:40-09:20, 11:00-11:40, 13:00-14:00, 15:20-16:20 and 18:20-20:20
The Buitenveldertbaan will undergo major maintenance from Saturday 10 May to Sunday 28 September. We expect landing traffic to use the Schiphol-Oostbaan more during that period. For departing traffic, we will mainly use the Kaagbaan more.
If you live near the airport and have a question, comment or complaint about air traffic to, from or at Schiphol, please contact the Local Community Contact Centre Schiphol, known by its Dutch acronym: BAS.
